Glass is usually picked for its translucent qualities, but the smooth, slick surface can be dramatic even when opaque. Glass can be back-coated with a special formulation of paint that gives a consistent, even color that won't flake away with time. Backpainted glass makes a room pop with a fresh, airy light.

Versatility
Backpainted glass is incredibly versatile. Standard colors are available, but custom color matching is easy and affordable. For those with an exacting eye for color, low iron glass can be used to prevent that green tint sometimes seen in thick glass. Most of our textured glass selections can be backpainted, as well. Even etched glass can be backpainted, when a matte surface is more desirable than gloss. If necessary, it can be fabricated to conform to safety glass specifications.
